Infant Program

6 weeks - 1 year

We utilize the latest research in infant language acquisition, emotional security, cognitive development, executive functioning, and positive bonding. Our trained staff are ready to share their knowledge and use it to benefit each child's growth and development. We provide dual-language exposure, as well as fine and gross motor activities. When speaking with your child, our staff uses language modeling and parallel talk to help with language development. Our infant program also incorporates baby yoga and music.

Infants are encouraged to reach, grasp, kick, hold, pull, crawl, and stand. We also provide many cognitive experiences for your infant. Our infant classroom provides person-to-person warm and loving care in a colorful, stimulating, clean and healthy environment. The low child-to-teacher ratio allows for plenty of one-on-one interactions.

Toddler Program

Children 1-2 years

Toddlerhood is a very special time of development! At Kolorful Beginnings, we carefully implement curriculum that incorporates age appropriate strategy-based lessons. This helps your child in developing emotional intelligence, social intelligence, sensory discrimination skills, concept development, critical thinking skills, and language + physical skills.

Our developmental practices provide safe and healthy ways to teach young children. We provide opportunities for toddles to learn and play in a safe and age-appropriate environment. We use music, art, manipulatives, games, puzzles, and books to provide interesting and stimulating ways to engage our children. We encourage children to explore and discover while supporting growing independence. At Kolorful Beginnings, we help enhance vocabulary, expand expressive language skills, improve communication skills, and develop self-esteem.

Early Preschool

Children 3-4 years.

At Kolorful Beginnings, we utilize research-based curriculum and state recognized framework, which ensures that your child is receiving the best education possible. Your child's day is filled with busy explorations, investigations, and discoveries. Children also express themselves through dramatic play, art, music, yoga, and movement. Our students enjoy exploring math and number concepts, technology, and coding, through the use of age-appropriate materials.

Children demonstrate love for reading and writing, using their growing literacy skills, nurtured during read-a-louds, shared reading, and writing practices. Our teachers are carefully trained in language modeling, feedback loops, and advanced language to help children develop a greater fluency and command of language. We facilitate natural growth with carefully planned and developmentally appropriate activities. Children develop motor skills and coordination while running, jumping, skipping, along with throwing and catching. Days are filled with learning, joy, and fun!

Pre-Kindergarten

Children 4-5 years.

Children are engaged in the active learning process, involving the development of language, scientific thought, creativity, and critical thinking skills. At Kolorful Beginnings, our Pre-K students become familiar with print concepts, phones, and word recognition.

Our experienced teachers plan thematic units in all subjects. Preparing children for a smooth transition to Kindergarten with a rich and robust learning foundation. A wide variety of literacy-based learning experiences is the foundation for the exploration of theme-based learning. As children use their language, literacy, mathematical, and cognitive skills to think, problem solve, and communicate, they are making sense of their world through the use and selection of several learning strategies.

Throughout the day, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development are nurtured in a warm, caring, and safe environment. Providing students with the early skills to become lifelong learners.

Before + After School Program

Children 5-12 years.

We offer a safe, convenient program for after-school hours. The overall goal is to help children develop valuable skills where encouraging the smart choices and healthy habits that last a lifetime. We provide a nutritional, stimulating and fun environment. We provide a nutritious afternoon snack whilst kids socialize with their friends.

The after-school program encourages activities that foster teamwork, helping to build child's confidence, self-esteem, and social skills. Children are also given the opportunity to play word and board games, create arts and crafts, participate in music and movement, and enjoy physical fitness activities.

Teachers take children outside for neighborhood walks or to local parks when weather permits. Our teachers guide and encourage children in completing homework and assignments. We assist them in studying for test or if children need help with their work. The teachers also help the children to strengthen their reading and mathematic skills through enrichment lessons and games.

Summer Program + School Breaks

Summer camp for all children (no age requirement).

At Kolorful Beginnings, our School Break Programs are all about having fun and learning. We utilize many local resources to expose children to the arts, music, field trips, in-house entertainment, and exposure to lots of sunshine. These are just some of the fun things we do during the Summer.

Our summer program was designed to inspire your child to explore, create, interact and stay active during the summer months. We have chosen developmental activities, lessons, and games for learning purposes. Your child's summer vacation at our program becomes a strong foundation for future success.
